Disaster recovery/Emergency repairs

Disaster recovery
Fire departments in Canada receive reports of home fires on average every 30 minutes. Residential fires account for the largest number of blazes in this country. A fire in your home will wreak havoc. And even if the fire is put out before your home is destroyed, the water used to extinguish the flames will cause untold damage.

Should you experience a devastating fire at home, a prompt call to Dilamco is all that is required:

  • Following your call, Dilamco will immediately dispatch a contractor to your home to remove any accumulated water.
  • Pack-out services will be arranged to remove personal effects from the damaged area. Undamaged items will be stored until restoration work has been completed. Cleaning and/or repair of other items will be arranged. All remaining debris from the fire will be removed.
  • Once the area is cleared of all water, debris and property, Dilamco will fully restore the damaged area to its pre-fire condition.

Emergency repairs
